Since being with the office, I’ve prosecuted a variety of cases
starting with Misdemeanors and Juvenile cases. I proceeded to be the
North County Domestic Violence prosecutor for 2 years that included
training law enforcement, conducting presentations to the women’s
shelter and updating the Tulare County Domestic Violence Protocol.
I served as a general felony prosecutor, working on a variety of
cases including drug cases, residential burglaries, commercial
burglaries, auto burglaries, stalking, felony DUI, Three Strike
cases, attempted murder and a variety of weapon offenses.
I was the South County VAWA (Violence Against Women Act) prosecutor
for the Porterville and Tulare areas that covered egregious domestic
violence matters as well as sexual assaults and 290 registrant
cases.
Currently, I am assigned to the Porterville Division as Interim
Supervisor. Apart from overseeing the office, I handle all the gang
prosecutions, some special interest cases as well as general felony
cases.
Some of the cases I’ve handled include the Scott Smith case
(possession of explosive material with the intent to make an
explosive device); Louis Montion case (embezzlement); Tammie
Bouslaugh (homicide/mutilation); and, Frank Millette (attempted
murder).
