On August 26, 2010, Tulare County Superior Court Judge Gary Paden
imposed a prison sentence of six years on 43-year-old Salvador Rojas,
a.k.a. Hector Rojas, a.k.a. Hector Pimental Torres of Tulare.
On July 30, 2010, the defendant pled no contest to a single count of
transportation of methamphetamine. When Rojas entered his plea, he also
admitted two prior narcotics convictions and two prior prison
commitments.
On November 19, 2009, a minor traffic stop in the City of Tulare
revealed five small and one large plastic baggie containing over three
grams of methamphetamine. A search of the defendant also revealed $240
cash and a cellular phone.
This case were prosecuted by Deputy District Attorney Matt Darby and
investigated by Officer German Barrios and Corporal John Hamlin of the
Tulare Police Department.
