On April 22, 2010, Investigators from the Tulare County District Attorney’s Office Rural Crimes Unit arrested a Strathmore man in connection with a theft occurring from a dairy east of Tulare. The suspect, Johnny Estrada Jr., 32, was arrested for grand theft, possession of stolen property, and cultivating marijuana.

The suspect was arrested without incident. The property in question was valued at $2000.00.

The District Attorney’s Rural Crime Unit is dedicated to the investigation of agricultural-related crimes and the prosecution of those criminals who target these local businesses.
