The Office of the Tulare
County District Attorney over the years has provided exceptional service
to the citizens of our communities. As the region has changed, so has
this Office. The "DA's Office" is no longer a modest band of prosecutors
with the assistance of supporting personnel going to criminal court day
after day. Growing from a small Office to our current multi-faceted
organization of over 200 people including 70 attorneys, Phil Cline has
taken us to new and innovative frontiers. Our recent experiences place
this Office amongst the best District Attorney Offices in the State of
California. We are not merely prosecutors; we are the leaders in
advancing law enforcement and prosecutorial techniques, programs, and
networking; we are innovators in community protection and victim
advocacy; and we are educators of the community at large regarding crime
issues, justice and crime prevention.
Throughout the year, this Office and its staff, lead, teach, participate
and represent this community in a variety of contexts throughout
California and reaching across the nation. From white collar crime
forums to senior citizen events to farm bureau presentations to the high
school mock trial competition, the District Attorney's Office is engaged
and committed to this County.
The Office of the Tulare County District Attorney is organized into
three branches:
Bureau of Criminal Prosecution headed by Assistant
District Attorney Shani Jenkins, Bureau of Administrative Services headed
by Assistant District Attorney Don Gallian and the
Bureau of
Investigations headed by Chief Investigator Robert French. Each bureau
encompasses multiple divisions with multi-faceted areas of
responsibilities and attributes reflective of dynamic changes and
challenges facing our communities.
